IT ALL STARTED AT A RIVERBANK

Let me take you back to the first period of quarantine in 2020. My partner and I were exploring Australia, traveling with our camper. The restrictions forced us to press pause on our journey, after a year of being on the move. Luckily for us, that moment of pause was next to a river. Limited groceries, baking our own bread and washing ourselves in the ice-cold river water: it was a boost like no other: in energy and creativity. Add to this the extra time we had, and you create the perfect circumstances to work on a creative project. Discreet Tattoos was born and raised in Australia, but still develops and grows, thanks to your stories.

Hi, I’m Britte. I am a Dutch designer exploring the world, one crazy story at a time. At the moment I am back in my home country The Netherlands, safe and sound – with a great longing to travel again. We’re living in a house now, without wheels, but still next to a river. I need to be close to water, since kite surfing is my thing. In between designing, I’m also working on our van, for our next adventures. Up next? Lapland.
